Do you know that it is possible to access your Driver's License and other documents digitally?
Data from the Citizen's Card, Driving License and ADSE Card are already available and it is expected that in the future, data from other documents will be integrated.
id.gov.pt has functions for viewing and sharing document data, and the validation of this identification data is done through a “QR code” validator, available in the menu, or by downloading a certified PDF, which can be electronically shared, with the data contained in the document, in order to confirm its authenticity.
To install id.gov.pt on the mobile phone (mobile phone, as they say in Brazil), the user must have the Mobile Digital Key (CMD) active, which is also necessary for all the application's functionalities, which serves not only for the authentication process, but also for all actions performed in the application (app).
The application also works in offline mode, although in this situation it is not possible to validate using the QR Code, update the data or generate PDF documents.
Remember, to drive a vehicle on public roads, you must be legally qualified, that is, have a driving license. And so be able to access the application.
You can already get a car driving license when you turn 18 years old. The driving license can be of different categories, according to the vehicle you want to drive. As a rule, anyone over the age of 18, who does not have physical or mental impairments, can take the license.
The price varies between driving education establishments and according to the category of vehicles to be licensed. Driver candidates, as a general rule, do not have a minimum period to obtain a driving license, with some exceptions.
