Documents you will need to travel to Portugal

To travel to Portugal, Brazilians need:

  1. Passport valid for more than 3 months after leaving Europe;

  2. Justify the purpose of the trip for the immigration inspector;

  3. Proof of hotel reservation or an invitation letter with the address where you will spend your days in the country;

  4. Proof of financial resources for their own subsistence during the stay, in the amounts of 75 EUR (for each entry), in addition to 40 EUR per day of stay;

  5. Not being listed in the Schengen Information System for non-admission purposes;

  6. Itinerary documents in case of travel to other countries or reservations;

  7. Return ticket with scheduled date;

  8. ETIAS travel authorization will be required from 2021;

  9. International vaccination certificate for Yellow Fever.

Some of these items are mandatory, while others are only requested in some cases. The ideal is that you go prepared with everything that is on the list, besides checking if there is any new document needed in the Brazilian Consular Portal.
