What a delicious restaurant and food! Super well located on Avenida da Liberdade, 155. And you know that curiosity about tasting those huge shrimps!? Well, I was very curious.
Do you know what these specific types of the photo above are called? They're called tiger shrimps. They are still exposed alive in an aquarium at the entrance. I thought it was delicious and I highly recommend it. If you want, you still have the chance to choose which one you want to savour, because they and other seafood are exposed in an aquarium at the entrance to the establishment. The restaurant is simple, but super cosy. The waiters are super friendly and polite. A curiosity they shared with us when they realised that we are Brazilians is that Globo actor Antônio Fagundes, whenever he goes to Lisbon, visits the restaurant.
As they say there, "going to Ribadouro and not eating seafood is like going to Rome and not seeing the Pope". So be sure to taste the seafood. For example: Lobsters, crayfish, Tigre, Thorn or Mozambique Shrimp, Grilled or Cooked, Gambas do Algarve, with Alhinho or Spanish, Oysters or Clams, among other options. Or why not all this together, in a spectacular Mariscada? It also has classic dishes of Portuguese cuisine such as Cod à Brás, Roasted Cod Loin, Alentejo Pork, or traditional Steaks. Don't hesitate to discover new flavours!

There is also the Ribadouro Kiosk on the promenade of Avenida da Liberdade in front of Ribadouro Brewery. Where we can enjoy all the hustle and bustle of the Avenue as well as a lively and snack in the late afternoon. The kiosk works every day between 12:30 pm and 1:30 am. And eventually there's live music.
