The most used ticket is Viva Viagem and to obtain your card and charge it, go to a point in the CARRIS sales network or other participating transport operators. Your Price is €0.50 and is valid: 1 year.
After this period, you must purchase a new card and if you still have loaded titles, you can request a transfer of the balance to the new card purchased.
This card allows the charging of only one type of ticket, if you want to charge a ticket of another type, you will have to exhaust the previous charge.
To check the balance of this card, just go anywhere in the CARRIS sales network or while traveling in the validator on board the vehicles.

Trip CARRIS/METRO - 1,50 €
Valid on the entire CARRIS and Metro network. Allows you to carry out an unlimited number of trips during 60 minutes (counted between the first and last entry validation).

Ticket 24h CARRIS/METRO - 6,40 €
Valid for an unlimited number of trips across the entire CARRIS and Metro network during 24 hours (counted from the first validation).
Ticket 24h CARRIS/METRO/TRANSTEJO - 9,55 €
Valid for an unlimited number of trips across the entire CARRIS, Metro and Transtejo network (connection Cacilhas - Cais do Sodré), for 24 hours (counted from the first validation).
Ticket 24h CARRIS/METRO/CP - 10,60 €

On CARRIS 1 Zapping journey is valid for 1 hour on the entire regular service network, ie, it allows free travel on all routes for 1 hour.
Changing the Operator implies the loss of validity of the previous Operator, and the price and hourly validity will apply to the new Operator. The value of the trip you make is deducted from the remaining balance on your card, depending on the rate and conditions of use in each operator.
In case the VIVA Viagem/7 Colinas/ Navegante card is lost, the Zapping balance will not be refundable or transferable to another card.
In case the Lisboa VIVA/ Navegante card is lost, the Zapping balance is transferable to another card (Lisbon VIVA/ Navegante or VIVA Viagem/ Navegante) under the conditions established for this purpose.
In case the VIVA Viagem/7 Colinas or Lisboa VIVA/ Navegante card malfunctions, the balance may be transferred to another card. If it is not possible to read the zapping balance on the damaged card, the transfer can only be made after a period of 5 working days has elapsed.
In case the card expires or in case the Customer needs it, the zapping balance can be transferred to another card, in situations where the balance is read by the Operators' system.
A card with an expired validity period, but with a valid balance, can be used until it runs out.
VIVA GO - 1,35 €
VIVA Go is an innovative mobility payment solution that allows a Lisboa VIVA / Navegante cardholder to travel post-paid, debiting the value of the trip directly to the cardholder's bank account.
To use VIVA Go, simply make an automatic subscription at a MULTIBANCO and ATM Express cashier, associating your bank card with the Lisboa VIVA/ Navegante transport card.
On the same Lisbon VIVA/ Navegante card, this VIVA Go mode can coexist for occasional trips, with the usual passes or zapping charged, working as an alternative whenever there are no other tariff contracts valid for the time and space required. Operator systems will give priority to transport tickets intended for frequent use, such as loaded passes and not VIVA Go mode.

Procedures to adopt if a VIVA Viagem/ Navegante card does not work
If the card has a balance and you cannot read it, you should go to a CARRIS store, which will assess the status of the card. In case of malfunction, if the card does not show visible damage and is within the validity period, the replacement is free of charge. If the card is damaged, or out of date, the respective cost is borne by the customer.

This card is rechargeable for one year. Do not throw it away during this period;

Other combination passes valid on CARRIS
In CARRIS (urban area) monthly passes combined with Rodoviária do Tejo and Barraqueiro Oeste are valid.
At Rodoviária do Tejo, these tickets are only valid for fast routes connecting to Lisbon and allow travel within the combination of an origin and a destination for which it was purchased and use the Metro and CARRIS services in the urban area of Lisbon.
Barraqueiro Oeste has routes to Lisbon (Campo Grande) where a set of Inter-Regional tickets (Oeste CIM/AML) are valid, which can be used in Metro and CARRIS services in the urban area of Lisbon.
These tickets are also available in the 4-18/sub23 modalities and are loaded through the Rodoviária do Tejo or Barraqueiro Oeste sales network.
