Know that it is possible to visit the Museum without leaving home

In the virtual visit to the Museum, we can visit two exhibition centers. There are two virtual trips available:

The route on the Museum tram;
And an experience at Ascensor da Bica.

We can get to know the various Centers of the Museum, in addition to taking advantage of the guided tour with the virtual guide. In the end, we can still travel on the Ascensor da Bica and discover this very iconic route.

As informed by the Museum itself, its mission is to preserve and conserve its valuable collection, in addition to publicizing its role as an integral and essential part of the development of the city of Lisbon. It provides an exciting journey through time, telling stories of the daily lives of a people that are retained in the memory of the city and the vehicles that travel through it.

There is also the possibility of carrying out a differentiated visit, in a didactic and interactive way. In which the visits are organized according to the age of the participants and the discursive typologies are varied and personalized. They are also distinguished by the intended route and the exhibition program on the date of the visit.

On average, a visit lasts 1 hour, including a permanent and/or temporary exhibition, a tram ride and educational material, aimed at interacting with groups.
