Chatting with Brazilians in Portugal

After some unpleasant experiences in Brazil, a childhood dream of living abroad resurfaced. And so after some vacation trips to other countries, in this year of 2018 we plan to spend Christmas and New Year, accompanied by 30 days in Portugal. So that we know a little about our planning in practice and be sure of our choice. On our first day in Portugal we went to dinner at the restaurant near the place where we stayed. And to our surprise, we were attended by Brazilians. Brazilians are a Curitibano and or Carioca. Both were dissatisfied, but still choose to live in Portugal. They complained a little about labour legislation. The next day, we took an Uber. And we know another Brazilian! Bahian. This one neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. But I didn't die of love and didn't dream as much as we did. We went to the supermarket and I believe the third day we arrived in Portugal. And to get back, we took another Uber. And once again, another Brazilian. Bahian. But this one, unlike the others, he came to study, do a master's degree, and in his spare time works as an Uber driver. After a few days in Lisbon, we decided to travel to Porto. And leaving the hotel where we were in Porto, we met an Uber Eats driver, a Brazilian as well. This dentist, came risking with the tourist visa. He advised us to come and not think too much.

We have been in Portugal since December 17, and we met with several Brazilians. And I ask you, did every Brazilian I met here plan to come? What will be their goals here in Portugal? Is there something wrong with this objective and/or point of view in relation to your trip to Portugal?

The positive side I see is that with the mistakes and successes (which we can identify) of each one we know made us see and reflect situations and different point of view regarding our coming. That's why I invite everyone to share their experiences and thus learn more together.

We will continue in Portugal until December 17, and what I can say is that so far after some good and bad experiences in Lusitanian lands we have not changed our desire to come and live here.
