Afeirinhacp was born on June 3, 2019, because I needed to work fewer hours and maintain the “same” income, in order to be able to spend more time at home with my son and support him more at school, it was necessary.
I've always worked hard not to miss anything, but I wasn't there, I realized I needed to change something in my life, I wanted to be there and help him with his homework and spend quality time with him, leave him memories, me and him .
This project is the beginning of the change I needed. And what a change… Second-hand clothes were not by chance, looking back as a child, I even sold my things at the flea market, to buy new clothes. Later, after being a mother, as my son was growing up and the clothes he barely wore were left over, I would put them on OLX, that is, why not start a small project where I can give new life to the clothes I already have? Objective, save resources. Material resources, human resources.
“There are already so many clothes in the world, how many of us don't have tagged clothes in the closet? Or how many years have you kept those pants that no longer fit you?“
From my little experience in the secondhand world, it is obvious that what I often no longer like, there is someone else who is precisely that piece I've been looking for. This dear project of mine, in addition to not having changed my life so that I can live with it, has changed my life, my choices, the way I think, and it is a daily, constant change, every day is learning, I fail like all people, but there are days that I also get it right like everyone else. I am very proud and even very grateful to have arrived here even as a small project, I am grateful to everyone who supports, follows, shares this and other projects of the same concept.
There is a beautiful secondhand community around here.
People need to break down prejudice on this topic. I believe so.
