Bertrand, one of the oldest bookstores in Lisbon, is providing its second Reading Retreat Bertrand will take place on April 8, 9 and 10, at Retiro do Bosque, in Minde. The Retreat will consist of an exclusive group of 14 participants, guided by Bibliotherapist Sandra Barão Nobre.
Program
Before the Retreat, a questionnaire will be sent to each participant about reading habits and preferences. Once analysed by the Bibliotherapist, it will give rise to a personalised literary prescription.
April 8th, Friday (from 6:00 pm)
Check-in. All participants will be received by the Bibliotherapist and a representative of Bertrand Booksellers. Welcome dinner. . Presentation of the program. Fraternisation.
April 9, Saturday
Breakfast. It's Breakfast. Brief lecture on Bibliotherapy: what it is, how it emerged and evolved, how it is defined and what its main benefits are. Impressions on previously "received" books will be exchanged, reading guidance will be given and any doubts will be clarified. Snack in the middle of the morning.
Lunch The rest of Saturday will be entirely dedicated to reading. Snack in the middle of the afternoon. Each participant will be entitled to an individual session with the Bibliotherapist. Each session will have a minimum duration of 30 minutes (however, the time may vary depending on the maximum number of participants). Dinner and fraternisation.
Sunday, April 10
Breakfast. It's Breakfast. Individual Bibliotherapy sessions (continued). Snack in the middle of the morning. Morning dedicated to reading. Lunch-tertudy with the guest author. Retreat Balance. Check-out.

About the Bibliotherapist:
Sandra Barão Nobre has dedicated herself, since 2016, exclusively to Bibliotherapy as an independent professional. To this end, he added to the Certificate of Pedagogical Competencies an International Certificate of Coaching Practitioner, a training in Bibliotherapy for Childhood and Youth at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Porto and is currently attending a Postgraduate Course in Bibliotherapy and Mediation of Literary Reading at the Community University of the Chapecó/Brazil Region. In the performance of his professional activities he accompanies private (individually) or institutional (group) clients in bibliotherapeutic processes, coordinates bibliotherapeutic projects in various institutions (companies, associations, hospitals, etc.), streamlines training actions on Bibliotherapy and the promotion of reading, produces content on Bibliotherapy and streamlines events around Biblio.
