Know that when watching the New Year's Eve Concert in Praça do Comércio the authorities will not let you enter the Square with glass bottles or cups, explosives, drugs or syringes, firearms and white weapons, air horns or pills, laser pointers, selfie sticks, megaphones, benches or chairs, umbrellas or helmets.
Pay attention to the places of entry to the Commerce Square, duly marked, as well as the changes in public transport:
From 5 p.m., Carris trams and buses do not run in the area of Rua do Arsenal and in the area of Avenida Ribeira das Naus;
The Metropolitano provides normal service, closing at 1 a.m. Terreiro do Paço Station closes at 6 p.m. (reopens on January 1 at 6:30 a.m.);
Planned reinforcement of the early morning careers of Carris in Cais do Sodré, Rossio and Sta. Apolónia/Avenida Infante Dom Henrique, as well as the river connections of Transtejo/Soflusa;
The police entity will be on site to coordinate to ensure, during conditioning, road safety and ensure the necessary deviations, especially from priority vehicles.

The interruption of road traffic in the area of Baixa de Lisboa and Parque das Nações, between 5 p.m. on January 31 and 5 a.m. on January 1 is due to the realisation of the New Year's Eve Concert at Praça do Comércio, between 10 p.m. and 2:00 a.m., and the traditional fireworks launch, which will take place in both places.
