The Douro region is in the north of Portugal and has exuberant landscapes, so much so that it is classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. In addition, there are several wineries that produce the famous Port Wine.

Another option is the Cascais Line, the bluest line in Lisbon ❤️, where the river and the sea meet to give a new wave of wonderful views and sea breezes.

The Cascais Line is a rail link that connects the municipalities of Lisbon, Oeiras and Cascais, in Portugal. The line starts in Lisbon, at Cais do Sodré station and ends at Cascais station, near the center of the same village.

The West Line is a railway section that connects the Agualva-Cacém station, on the Sintra Line, to the Figueira da Foz station, in Portugal. Originally it also included the section between Alcântara Terra and Cacém. Although it was one of the first lines to be planned in Portugal, construction only began at the end of the 19th century, with its first section, from Alcântara-Terra to Cacém, being inaugurated on 2 April 1887.

Along the Sintra Line, you reach the point where the sun is intimidated by so much historical and natural beauty, and where the landscapes make us travel through the warm colors and stories that our soul warms and illuminates. The Line is about 27.2 km long.

The Sintra Line is a train connection between Lisbon and Sintra, in Portugal. It is one of the most important railway infrastructures in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, ensuring connections on the Lisbon/Amadora/Sintra corridor and also serving, in addition to these municipalities, the north of the municipality of Oeiras (Tercena and Barcarena).
Northern Line
Between the North and the South, a journey through landscapes with different temperatures linked by their natural beauty that, illuminated by the sun, give rise to new paths.
The Northern Line is a rail link between Lisbon and Porto, the most important in Portugal. It has a length of 336 km, from the stations of Lisbon-Santa Apolónia to Porto-Campanhã, which are 274 km apart in a straight line. The line is a double track, except for 15 km of quad track outside Lisbon, between the stations of Lisbon-Oriente and Alverca, and is fully electrified.
It also serves the most populous region in Portugal: around 6.7 million people, 63% of Portugal's population, live less than 35 km in a straight line from a main station (served by intercity trains). And it also serves populations from other regions, as it forms the backbone of the Portuguese railway network, connecting the lines south of Lisbon to the lines north of Porto and these to the Beira Baixa and Beira Alta lines.
In 2012, the fastest Alfa Pendular trains connect Lisbon-Santa Apolónia to Porto-Campanhã in two hours and 44 minutes, with stops in Lisbon-Oriente, Coimbra-B, Aveiro and Vila Nova de Gaia.
Intercidades trains, which stop at eleven intermediate stations, take three hours and nine minutes. About eighteen Alfa Pendular and Intercidades trains in each direction connect Lisbon and Porto daily. The line is also used by freight, regional and suburban trains from Lisbon and Porto. In total, on each working day, the Northern Line is used by around 720 trains (goods and passengers).
